TO BLOG OR NOT TO BLOG?
i cant help it.

blogs only allow someone to vent thier spleen. 80 million smart bloggers
are writing and id be like a feather in the grand canyon. they already
have all the solutions and still the world doesnt change.

i do enjoy reading others blogs tho. more fun than reading official
site info. and its already changed my attitude about people. i thought
everybody was stupid til i read blogs and i find everybody has a mind.

i gotta come up with something to blog about .. that theyll let me. i
dont think i can write anything nasty or mean on joeuser. and if im
sweet i still might sound mean when i try to be funny. im afraid to
even whisper about racism tho i hate political correctness taking over
the world.

im not really interested in politics or saving the world. id be more
interested in advising people since im so old and wise. ( like the dave
reiser (/) blog i cant find again. he was sassy and 100% right on all
his advice and i cant find him to compliment him.)

so im trying to avoid just making lists (my forte), and griping about
issues, or talking about me (and here i am doing it). and i dont wana
be lil miss sunshine counting our blessings for us. there are too many
people traits that bug me. everyone whines about not being able to
eat less or quit smoking. i dont like current fashions in clothes or
music. id like to change whats acceptable in fiction and nonfiction.
id like to see better movies and books. id like to see anyone who
puts spyware on the net taken out and shot. i dont even like animals.
i think bushes are unnecessary too

(no. george is ok with me..for all the wrong reasons. i like him as
a person better than kerry. kerry was smarter but he was a stuffed shirt
to me. so the hell with him. (pause for 8000 responses from people
who know something about politics. note to them: "let george do it"
that was an iq test. did you catch that one?

insightful tidbit. the smarter people are the more diverse the opinions.
only the average find common grounds. what the hell did i stick that in
here for. im much more organized with lists. and i never revise. it
either flows or it goes.

a smiley..i have opinions on everything. hell i even have opinions
on things i havent thought about yet.

and i forgot. im 74 looking for a jessica simpson type so im always
hoping blog exposure might stir me up a sexy penpal. talk about
paradoxical optimism and pessimism (hope vs reality)

so why do i blog? hell. i do it at home on my own computer anyway.
it clarifies my thinking just to write it down. but then if somebody
reads it and agrees or gets something out of it..it seems to make it
more worthwile. i just love to write..even trash..i even like to see
the little letters come up on the screen as i type

us bloggers just cant resist writing..even if we were
on a desert island. and i wana be like dave barry when i grow up.

If lists are your thing, write lists. If you want to be mean and nasty, well if it's that bad use the adult content check mark when you submit it. Just don't stick any real insults with other bloggers names in the title of your article, that has gotten people in trouble before. I say your blog should be what you want it to be, people will like it or not regardless of what you do. You can cater to what you think they want and maybe be more popular so long as the facade doesn't slip, or you can write what you want and maybe have fewer readers but those you do have will be all the more valuable. Make lists, gripe, and talk about yourself all you want, it's your blog. Leastwise that's what I think
